Nigel Beattie is a motorcycle road racer who hails from Laxey in the Isle of Man, the current Island champion is a former Manx grand prix winner, and podium TT finisher. Nigel Achieved his first international success by winning the 250cc race at the 2006 Northwest 200. He is now regarded as one the leading riders currently playing their trade on the road racing circuit.

For 2006 Nigel has joined forces with Evomoto’s Dave Hagen to form a new partnership Team Evomoto Racing. Team Evomoto is a new name in the world of motorcycle road racing but the man behind the team, Dave Hagen, is known by many from his experience as a leading engine builder in British Superbike, World Superbike, and Moto GP.

Dave, who now lives on the Isle of Man and has a state of the art race shop in Ramsey, has plenty of experience in real road racing as well. He was the man behind John McGuinness’s Formula 1 TT win in 2004 and has been preparing engines for many of the sports top riders in recent years including Dave Molyneux, Martin Finnegan and Jason Griffiths.
