The

got underway this evening after a short weather
delay. Roads closed around the course at 5.20pm
but mist on the mountain and a rain shower meant
that the first bikes left the startline on Glencrutchery
Road shortly after 6.30pm in an untimed practice. |

fourth practice session for the 2010 Manx Grand

as scheduled at 6.20pm with the Senior, Junior,
Lightweight and Newcomers A classes getting first
use of the mountain circuit. Clerk of the Course
Phi Taubman issued a sunlight warning to the paddock
with excessive glare reported from Ballagarey
to Ballacraine. |

Conditions
around the course for the 5th practice of the
2010 Manx Grand Prix, sponsored by visitisleofman.com,
were described as ‘perfect and dry throughout
with light winds’ by Clerk of the Course
Phil Taubman, although he warned riders of sunlight
dazzle between Union Mills and Ballacraine and
also at the exit of the Gooseneck. |
