Hi there folks,
We are really getting looked after by the sun out here!!
could be Ibiza not IoM :) Just faster scooters we're
racing about on though..! Well just a quick one tonight
as only really been out on the SBK.. Firstly we tried
a new shock kindly sold to us by the Hydrex lads, but
it wasn't the answer..... we're running a different
swinging arm to all the other Honda teams and don't
know how it is altering the settings we're getting off
the teams.
I set off down Bray Hill and had a massive el' old Norton
tank slapper down it.... John Burrows who set off next
to us Sh**e himself!!! So that set us up for a great
looking lap!! I carried on riding hard with the bike
weaving all over the place, and next thing I had caught
the lads in front by Kirk Michael. But after that I
struggled to even keep with them through the rough stuff
from there to Ramsey.
It was knocking my pads out and was all the time pumping
the brake down the straights ready for the approaching
corners! Ryan held us over the mountain while I was
going lock to lock till I dived under him at the rail
crossings. I pulled away and come across on a 127.4
from a standing start and the thing had been all over
the place! Sort it and we'll be flying boys.
Stocker for a lap while they altered it and was looking
fastest till over shot the Nook and lost over 40sec.
Back on the SBK for a lap and the change had been a
improvement but she was wheelying everywhere and still
not great at high speed. Back in at the end of the lap
and a further change, this time the bike was the best
it been all week.... Thank god!! haha, but still a problem
there but there is some light!! Minor adjustments for
tomorrow and we could be a lot better. (wish we had
been here on sat) I'm now only wrestling a rottweiler
haha
The times have really been set tonight by the factory
teams, but we're working away and getting there! Tomorrow
night is looking good, I'll speak to you all after it
