Practice
for the 2009 Isle of Man TT Races got underway
this evening after a 40-minute delay due to cattle
on the Ballacrye section of the circuit but, just
after 7pm, the first batch of newcomers went out
on their controlled lap. In total 186 machines

Monday
evening’s practice session was held in dry,
bright and warm conditions with the Island continuing
to bask in tropical like temperatures although
this also meant the vast amount of flies were
again a major problem for the riders. Just like

sun that had caused problems on both Saturday
and Monday having subsided slightly. Instead,

the fourth night in a row, conditions were ideal
for qualifying at the 2009 Isle of Man TT Races
with cloud during the day giving way to clear
blue skies and warm sun once more. A slight breeze
was in the air but it was still extremely warm

penultimate practice session for the 2009 Isle
of Man TT Races saw perfect weather once more
and what a night it turned out to be. Australian
ace Cameron Donald unofficially shattered the
outright lap record and a speed of 131.457mph
was over eight and a half seconds inside ........

the lap times were slightly slower during qualifying
on Friday evening for the 2009 Isle of Man TT

after long time race leader Bruce Anstey was forced
to retire towards the end of the final lap after

Lougher ended his 2009 TT on a high when he took
a 125cc-250cc double down at the Billown circuit,
near Castletown. The Barnes/Jackson Racing rider
took a brace of wins and a pair of seconds to
wrap up the overall victories and add two more
TT wins to his total. |
