Practice Report - Martin ups Speed Again
Tuesday night’s practice session for the Isle of Man TT started off with the fastest lap of the week so far. Guy Martin took his Superbike Yamaha round in 18 minutes 14.58 seconds – an average speed of 124.09 miles an hour.

Highlight of Wednesday night’s practice session in the Isle of Man TT meeting was not one, but two, unofficial lap records. First of all came news of a lap at 127.81 miles an hour by John McGuinness, breaking – unofficially – his own outright record of 127.68 set up two years ago.

Practice Report - McGuinness Tops Windy Session
This afternoon’s practice session for the Isle of Man TT was halted when a sidecar crashed and then went on fire. The course was opened to allow the Fire Brigade to deal with the incident and so that the sidecar and debris could be removed.

New Zealander Bruce Anstey continued his dominance of the TT Superstocks when he won the Scottish Life International-sponsored event in the Isle of Man today after one of the most exciting races in the history of the meeting. It was his fifth TT triumph.

Race Report - Sidecar TT (2)

Local residents Nick Crowe and Darren Hope clinched their third Isle of Man TT victory, and their second in three days, when they led from start to finish to win this afternoon's Hilton Hotel and Casino Sidecar 'B' Race thus completing the double.

Spectators in the sun-kissed Isle of Man saw the fastest race in TT history today when John McGuinness completed his third win of the week, in the 2e2 Group Senior Race, and set up a new outright lap record - at over 129 miles an hour!
