aahh just back from walderstown and what a great days racing from beginning to end, on road home at 3.45, alot of other clubs please take note as this is always a very well run meeting. just a pity that all off above riders did not attend but it is their loss. if i was micky i would go to scarborough an knock in another load of wins.. .his riding at the moment is fabulous, neat an tidy but boy he is quick. . glad to see william out, brill and another on form, just pity he had his off at skerries, so heres me really looking forward to our meeting on 27th /28th july.. keep er lit..
Was at Walderstown on Sunday and have to say it is the best run road race i have ever been to. It was run so efficiently with one race ending and another about to start. No stoppagers for podium presentations or anything between races which i am sure riders would also be glad about as it allows them to concentrate on the next race. Great wee track also with a cobination of fast main roads and twisty narrow parts of circuit, with several good viewing spots from the hairpin down to Corr Cross. It may not be one of the bigger name national events but is as mentioned above other races should take note. Few races have roads closing at 11oclock but with the organisation of this meeting there is no need for a closure any earlier. Well worth the journey from the North Coast to see a great days racing. the organisers deserve a huge amount of credit.
