Southern 100 Road Race - Spectator Points

Start/Finish
Grandstand seating gives a great view of the great massed starts, as well as easy access to both the paddock and all the facilities included here, such as food and toilets.

Ballakeighan
The long banking on the left here gives great views of the racers moving from a flat-out straight to an almost-stopped right-hander, with lots of out-breaking and overshooting.

Iron Gates
A fast right-hander where the big bikes are well cranked over! However, a little short on spectator facilities.

Ballabeg
Lots of viewing spots around the entry to the village, and facilities provided by the shop in the village.

William’s Corner
Limited viewing here, but an awesomely fast corner. Again, limited facilities and cut off a little from the rest of the circuit.

Cross Four Ways
Popular spectating point with easy access from the rest of the Island. Slow 90 degree bend with plenty of viewing and food and toilet facilities available.

Church Bends
Lots of places to watch from at the scary Church Corner, famous for its high stone walls. The scene of a few do or die manoeuvres.

Stadium Bend
As the name suggest, great viewing here from the football stadium of both the fast corner and out-breaking into the last corner. Close to the main paddock and the start/finish.

Castletown Corner
Action packed corner where many a last ditch effort is made to win a race. Plenty o viewing all around the corner, but get really close by actually sitting on the bridge. Food available courtesy of the ladies of the club and easy access to Castletown.
