Entry into the pits and a chance to look around the teams.
Facilities are good, with food, a bar and toilets and
several grandstands.
York Corner
The first corner of the famous triangle, and often the
scene of a mad rush on the first lap. Grandstand provides
great viewing, and the main road allows access to the
town. Viewing available at the York Hotel also.
Station Corner
Possibly the fastest corner in the World! Has to be
seen to be believed – Mega fast right hand kink
that’s almost flat out. Hard to get to, and inaccessible
from the outside of the course.
University Corner
Good spot for lots of late braking and the occasional
crash. Allows a quick escape after the race on the main
road for Coleraine.
Mathers Cross
Scary for spectating – a very quick corner where
the bikes are well-leant over.
Magherabouy
The new Corona chicane makes this an exciting spot,
and facilities are provided by the nearby hotel. Inside
the circuit so access is not so good.
Metropole
A great spot for late braking, and seating is provided
by the massive grass bank that doubles as a grandstand.
Handy access to the train station for getting home afterwards.
Great atmosphere here!
Coast Road
Viewing is available all along the Coast Road section
but be warned – it can get very busy and don’t
be surprised to find the roadsides three or four deep
for the main races. |
