50 Road Race - Spectator Points
|
Start / Finish
There is a fence along the paddock and the area is roped
off so you have to watch from behind it but it’s
a good safe distance back. In the field next door there
are high hedges but a lot of people back campers up to
it to watch on top of them. Creamery
Corner
If you leave the paddock and head up towards the first
road end you can climb over a gate that brings you to
the next field and into to Creamery Corner. The hedges
are high but there are some Grandstands available. This
is arguably the best spot on the circuit for spectating
and as the first main change of direction there is always
a lot of action here. Always exciting on the first lap.
Drivers Bend
This is a scary bend but highly recommended! Spectating
is limited although there are private houses there that
people spectate from but ask permission first.
Carrick Crossroads
This is one of the most popular spectator venues so
get there early. From here on the right hand side of
the road offers high banks which are offering a great
view.
Church Bend
This bend is approaching Faugheen village and you can
spectate from the village corner where there is a grave
yard which provides a good viewing spot. This is the
final corner on the circuit and always makes for exciting
overtaking passes.
