100 Road Race - Spectator Points
|
Start / Finish.
Good spectating around the sweeping right handed S/F area
outside and along the big paddock field, with access back
up to Roundabout area and down 1/2 mile Slane road towards
first right-hander.
Slane Corner/Entrance
to Glen
This 90 degree right hander has great spectating and
services/ Toilets too, watch from inside the circuit
only as the riders out brake each other from flat out
to a near stop to enter the tricky Glen section.
King Williams Glen
This section is like no other on any other road race,
similar to the Black Dub/Glen Helen section at the TT.
Watch the riders negotiate the tricky one line weave
from high on the banks both sides of the Glen through
multiple uphill left/right/left/right combinations.
Worth the effort as your very close to the action.
Glen Exit/ Village entrance
Great spectating on the exit of the Glen through the
90 degree right from the big School grounds on the outside
of the circuit. Loads of room to watch and Food Stalls/Toilets
also.
Tullyallen Village
Through the very fast straight village section spectating
is limited to two locations. One is outside the excellent
Morning Star Thatched Pub with Mini Grandstand and full
facilities. The other is across the road in the Shopping
Centre car park .
Collen Road
After the fast Left exit of the village, the riders
go through the fast right hander on to the long and
straight Collen Road. Spectating is limited along the
straight .
Roundabout Section
After the fast Collen straight the riders take a very
fast right with Grandstand on outside, and then left
to enter the slow Roundabout right hander, the spectating
is good all along this stretch and back to the S/F area.
