Stephen Davison's Review of 2006 in Photos

As is so often the way in life, things didn't turn out quite as I had intended in 2006. A winter of huge personal and professional upheaval had left me planning to scale down the number of race meetings I covered in the summer but in the end I went to every race in Ireland, the TT, the Southern and the Manx on the Isle of Man and Macau!

There was incredible racing to watch, plenty of vodka to drink and now and again I took a few pictures. A few thousand. I have selected some here, at least one from every meeting, in a personal review of the year. There are some 'balls out' images, some happy moments and some unbearably sad ones but above all every picture has its own story from a year on the road, for the racers and for me.
